Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
This is a reminder that RHS will be enforcing the Mind Over Mobile practices starting tomorrow, Oct 1st, 2024. Cellphones, headphones, earbuds, and other electronic devices (except chromebooks) are not to be used during learning time unless directed by the teacher or an accommodation is specifically stated in a student's IEPs or 504s. Students are allowed use their devices during passing time and/or breakfast/lunch time. Parents/guardians needing to contact their student during learning time may call the front office at 360.473.4700.
